Tonight’s session will be a ‘5 x 5’ hill session on Delavor Road. From the Pipers lane corner you will run up to a pre-designated point at 85% effort, cross the road (looking out for cars) and then down the other side but, maintaining the pace so, fast down the hill as well as up. We continue up and down for 5 minutes until I blow the whistle. Then a 2 – 3 minute passive rest before repeating another 4 times. So, similar to Kenyan Hills but shorter efforts but more of them. We’re training for more rapid facilitation of ATP regeneration, faster leg turnover and speed endurance.
