Chairman’s Challenge

The infamous Chairman’s Challenge!

The Chairman’s Challenge is set every three months (usually on the last Friday of the month) and consists of a run down to the shoreline and up to the high points of Heswall – a total of three times – finishing at Poll Hill the highest point on the Wirral.

The three climbs are up to 295’ in South Drive, up to 327’ at the Jug & Bottle and then up to 371’ at Poll Hill radio mast – the highest point. That is 993’ of climb and is 7.57 miles in length.

The challenge is to beat your previous best, and this course never gets any easier! Can you beat the magic hour mark? Or are you up to the 50 minutes challenge?

See the map below for a course overview or click here for full details of the route.
