Paddy Buckley Round Relay, 11-12 July 2020
A Pensby relay attempt at the PBR in Snowdonia (see map attached) in June. I need at least a dozen intrepid runners to run the 6 legs (in pairs at least) of the round ideally within 24 hours. Each leg will be about 10 miles and take about 4 hours, often over rough ground. It will suit any Pensby members who have done the longer fell races like Penmaenmawr, Gamelin or Excalibur. Being speedy isn’t a requirement, as the 24 hour pace isn’t fast, but being consistent and fairly robust is, with a liking for a team adventure! I’ve provisionally booked Moelwyn bunkhouse at Plas y Brenin at Capel Curig as base.
