I will arrive around 6.45pm and will meet you all on the track at the 400m start point. To access the track enter the gate and walk up the path along side the football pitches (you will see the track from the car park)
The session will be catered for all abilities, the basic breakdown though will be:
● Warm up jog
● A few easy drills
● Session itself, varied timed reps
● Cool down jog
The session is all done at your own pace and within your own ability, so don’t panic just do what you can.
I will go over them again but a few track basics:
● Look both ways when stopping on the track.
● Look both ways when stepping on the track.
● If somebody shouts track, expect a runner to overtake on your right.
● Recovery to be in outer lanes.
● Lane 1 and 2 for reps only, not walking.
● Overtake on the right hand side.
