Borders League

The Borders Road Running League was first formed in 1983, with the aim of providing friendly competition between running clubs in North West England and Wales. The series usually consists of 7 races that take place once a month from October to May, with each one hosted by a different club.

Borders League 2023/24

After a successful first year for Pensby Runners within the Borders League last year where we came 4th in the men’s and women’s Division 2, we’re hoping to make our presence felt more strongly, and this year, Pensby will be hosting one of the races.

Each race is between 5 and 6.21 miles, and takes place once a month on Sunday mornings at 11am (except for the final race). We need a minimum of 7 men and 4 women to finish for Pensby Runners to score points.

Club kit is mandatory – bring your A game race face and pace!

To get involved and receive your own unique bar code for each race, contact Club Captain Colin Lamprey.
