Where: Capelulo Village Hall, Dwygyfylchi (GR SH 744764)
Description: BM 16.1km/594m 10miles/1950ft ER-Experience required/LK-local knowledge an advantage/NS-navigation skills required/PM-course is partially marked
Entry: £8 – Online entry only at www.fabian4.co.uk. No entries on the day
Kit: You must bring waterproof top, bottoms, hat, gloves, whistle, compass , map of the course, food advised. A decision will be made on the day about how much of this kit will need to be carried. There will be a kit check. Race numbers on chest and show it to marshals please. NO GPS-MAP AND COMPASS ONLY
Venue: Capelulo Village Hall, Dwygyfylchi (GR SH 744764). Limited parking. Use car parks at GR 754769, 759769, 749770 Free Bus to start – please car share and allow more time.
Age limit: Over 18
Dogs: Sorry no dogs, this is sheep country. Medical assistance dogs only, please check with organiser

Parking
This year we will once again be having FREE transport provided from the 3 car parks at the top of the Sychnant pass ( both before and after the race ) at: GR754769, 759769, 749770
As always with this race, it’s the parking that causes problems for us. There will be police in the village again and we’d urge people to share transport where possible .
Prizes. Mug and chocolate/beer/wine for class winners. Chocolate/wine/beer for 2nd and 3rd in class. Classes: Female and Male open, vet 40,45,50,55,60,65,70,75, first 3 local female, 1st 3 local male.
Beer: Bottle of Pen race beer for all competitors.
Soup and Roll: Free soup and roll kindly provided by the Fairy Glen pub.
Race centre facilities: Toilets, tea/coffee/cakes. Toilets in village.
Results and live tracking. Results usually available on-line very soon after the race. Live tracking in village hall.Timing and results by https://www.racetek-live.co.uk/ Last year’s results also available at racetek
Presentation: 1.30pm/2 pm outside Fairy Glen pub or in village hall depending on weather

Proceed from CP3 to SH 748757 and follow flagging to the finish.
The Golden Rule of Fell Running: If you retire/drop out from the race you must tell the nearest marshal or report to the start finish as soon as possible
