The penultimate race in the WFRA North Wales Series is almost upon us. A rehash of a race last run 20 years ago (the older sweats will recall the Pedol Crafnant), this looks to be a fantastic route to be run. Some wild terrain with limited marking, this race isn’t for the inexperienced or faint hearted.

Distance: 10.5 miles Climb: 3,000ft approx
This race is for only experienced fell runners over 18. You will need navigational skills and will require full body cover, map, compass, whistle and emergency food as detailed in WFRA Handbook. Course marked in places
Parking: Gowers Road opposite Trefriw Woollen Mill. Please car share if possible: limited space
Registration: 9.15 – 10.30 in Trefriw Village Hall along from Fairy Falls pub.
